Teaching Young Children to Read for Meaning

A practical, inclusive and storybook-based course for ECD practitioners working with children aged 2 to 5 years. The course has one central message: a child who says words is not always reading. A child who understands, thinks, connects and responds is reading for meaning. Everything in this course helps teach this kind of reading, through talk, play, pictures, stories and everyday moments.
